Class Description

A Gmail or Google account has a lot of benefits and value with its various services. However, there is a significant amount of mystery regarding the entire collection of services that are available to Gmail and Google users.

This class will explore 10 Google services including Calendar, Contacts, Docs and more. This class will occur in a computer lab, allowing you to get a hands-on view of those capabilities.

You should have a Google or Gmail account set up before you arrive to class.

Google provides a lot of services in addition to search and email.  In this workshop will explore and demonstrate 10 of those apps and services.

We will explore:

  1. Drive
  2. Translate
  3. Docs
  4. Arts and Culture
  5. Sheets
  6. Flights
  7. Contacts
  8. Voice
  9. Calendar
  10. Earth

And best of all, these services are free (but please understand how Google makes money)
