iPadOS 13.3.1 – Recommended

iPadOS 13.3.1 is recommended for newer iPads (see list below.) It was released on January 28, 2020 and is intended to fix a number of bugs.  No significant features were added to the release.  For a full list of fixes, click here for the Apple release notes.

I  found no issues with the update and the process took less than 20 minutes.   I also found no issues in the days  following the update. 

We recommend the update particularly to get the fixes that come with the release.  This is includes a number of security related fixes.

You can learn which iPad you use in the Setting app.  Tap General, About and look for the Model Name on the display.
